October 3rd

All over, far south, spikes and curls... but, faint...
One of those tricky nights when the weather forecast wasn't right at the location I choose far away.
But, there's always hope, since this game its a question of little gambling and good luck, where you've to sit and wait and

hope for the best that the clouds will change, or just decide you and drive away to a better location.
On the return we got 90% clear sky and Northern lights all over the sky. We returned back to the city very late, or early morning if you like...

October 4th

It was time to head towards Finland again for better clear sky, but we didn't reach so far when tonight`s best show was showing up with little pink dancing...
No pictures on that one since its happen when we was on the drove, so the bus front window was like a TV screen for the best Aurora show... but, she came back 1, 2 and 3 times before the chase was over..;)

Some nights are little more tricky than others, but still... with transfer enough patience over to my guests, we found both clear sky and got little view of lady Aurora... she was shy tonight, but at least she showed up for a couple of minutes...

The clouds played with us tonight... first they went out in the ocean and we followed by staying at the clear sky side... and sudently they returned... but, we was lucky, since the little of Aurora we got this night happen where the sky was clear, and later partly clear. Its always nice to have some clouds on the sky since the pictures getting more like a painting, but for a while there was little too much, before it cleared up totally...

Was planned to drive to Sommarøy, but out in the ocean the clouds bank was to high and heavy, so we did a backtrack and stayed close to the city where the sky was clear all night. So, we ended up by staying at 3 lovely locations, where we was planned to take the magic Aurora photos of Ersfjord, but the best show was behind us... but, we capture that one too..;)

It`s just lovely to live out in the darkness with no light pullotion... so, like this night off, I just went down on my own beach and shot a serie of lovely Aurora pictures...
