September 1st

Aurora show: Couple of bands across, also far south for a while, a short show with little dancing, curtains, spikes and two colors.

September 12th

Guests / Country: One from Germany.

Destination / weather: Sørskaret / Skarsfjord / clear / part clear.
Aurora activity: 7/10.
Aurora show: All over, also far south for a while, a short show with little dancing, curtains, spikes and a corona. Two colors visible and 3 colors on camera.
Tour km: 115.
Tour hrs: 6.

After 9 days with bad weather and low Aurora activity it finally get nice clear sky and the activity was good..;) It`s lovely to chase the Northern lights when the landscape is covered in Autumn colors...

September 13th

Guests / Country: One for Germany.

Destination / weather: Dåfjord / clear / cloudy.
Aurora activity: 10/10.
Aurora show: All over, far south, curtains, spikes and coronas. Rock`n`Roll dancing all over the sky incl. coronas. 3 colors visible.
Tour km: 150.

Clouds was forecasted from the south by midnight, so we headed so far south we could drive, where we had a nice evening with silence fjord with reflection of the Northern Lights... and when tonight`s and season best show begin, then the clouds suddenly begin to cover the sky too...

September 15th

September 23rd

Aurora show: All over, far south, little dancing, curtains, spikes and two colors.

The weather forecast said full storm, but when its windy the clouds are moving which gives gaps in the clouds.

So, just before the great show begin I had a huge hole of clear sky over my house, here at Ringvassøya island, 40 km north of Tromsø city, Northern Norway.

It was windy out there on my beach so I had to secure my tripod since it was a risk it should blow away...

Its nice to live at a place where there's no light pollution and where I can step out on my doorsteps for view lady Auroras dance...

September 25th

Aurora show: All over, also far south, dancing, curtains, spikes. Two colors visible and 3 colors on camera.

A short tour outside on my doorsteps between the rain and cloudy weather... missed the great one when it`s danced pink... but, this weekend will probably be a great one, with better weather and good activity from the sun...

September 26th

Aurora activity: 10/10.
Aurora show: All over, far south, curtains, spikes and three colors. Intense PINK Rock`n`Roll dancing and several coronas.

Finally we got some good weather here in the Arctic after weeks with rain and storms... and it was good timing since the activity on the sun have been very active which gives us crazy good Aurora show... so far four nights in row and it`s continue... so, new tours outdoors will be done the next days... more pics will follow.

Aurora show: All over, far south, curtains, spikes and coronas. Little pink dancing, incl. a couple of faint coronas. 2 colors visible, 3 colors on camera.

Went out for a drive east of the Lyngen Alps to the mountain Otertind with my good colleague Marcus in Explore the Arctic, and the lady didn`t disappointed us...
