• Age limited chase (valid from September 2024)

• Only open for guests between 15 - 75 years.

• Babies & kids below 15 years and super seniors above 75 years; Please be most welcome to join my Private Aurora Chases, with or without dinner.

• If we catch a good show, I share GuideGunnar Aurora Chase photographs from your aurora night.
• A Google Map directions link showing your Aurora Chase tour route
• Return transport to your place of stay in the city hotels and AirBnb`s (within 5 km)
• NB! If you stay further away, you`ve arrange the return by local bus or a taxi.

Arctic-proof warm boots and thermo suits are available, but I have reduce the numbers of them, since too many of my guests don`t like to use suits and boots other people have used before them ...

2 nights of chasing: Add AURORAPASSx2 and SAVE 5%.

GuideGunnar's Aurora Pass is also valid for ice fishing and snowshoeing. That means you can book one day of ice fishing and two Aurora Chases, for example, and SAVE money.

GuideGunnar's Private Aurora Chase Dinner is perfect for work teams, good friends, and family adventures. In this premium chase into the Arctic wilderness, your private group will enjoy excellent service and hospitality from one of Norway's most innovative and experienced tour guides. 

GuideGunnar's Private Aurora Chase Dinner also treats you to a traditional Norwegian dinner and snacks around the campfire and presents an on-screen introduction to the fascinating physics and cultural history behind the Northern Lights.

Private Aurora Chase Dinner Includes

• Pick-up from Tromsø airport (TOS), cruise ship terminals, city hotels, or your Airbnb address.

• GuideGunnar’s Private Aurora Chase small group tour for up to eight guests includes a choice between an reindeer stew with onion and mushroom or a fish stew with vegetables. Vegetarian option is available too, on request.
• All meals get prepared over the camp fire by Gunnar. It`s time for Theatre of Food.
• *Camp fire meal is only included for groups of 8 guests and below.
• Snacks served around the campfire: `Lefse` is Arctic Norway's traditional and locally made pastry with cream and sweet goat cheese. Served with hot black currant juice.
• Arctic-proof warm boots and thermo suit - dress to impress the Arctic's sub-zero temperatures!

• GuideGunnar's tours are run in a high-quality, warm, and spacious minibus (17 seats). The minibus also features a screen, where you can watch an introduction to the aurora borealis en route to the Northern Lights.

Passports

Please bring your passport (or other ID for EU citizens) for GuideGunnar's Aurora Chase, since as weather conditions might cause us to chase the lights across the border into Finland.

Bathrooms

GuideGunnar's Aurora Chase is a wilderness tour with nature's own bathroom facilities. However, there might be bathroom facilities en route during the Aurora Chase. Please don't hesitate to ask.
